Set Up a SMS Message Webhook

To set up a webhook action that triggers any time a SMS message is sent, follow the step-by-step guide below:

  1. In Apptoto, navigate to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Click the “Webhooks” tab under “Advanced Integration Options” to expand.
  3. Click “+Add” to add a new trigger
  4. Under Trigger Type, select from one of the following three options
    • Message Sent
    • Message Received
    • Message Failed
  5. Add a Name and Description for your trigger, and ensure it is enabled.
  6. Click Create.
  7. The Webhook Actions section will appear. Click “+Add” under Webhook Actions to create a new action.
  8. Select what action you’d like to occur after a message is sent, received, or fails. Options include:
    • Send an email
      • If you choose Email, fill in the additional form fields that appear and customize your email message content.
    • Send Webhook notification
      • If you choose Send Webhook Notification, enter the webhook URL where you want Apptoto to send an HTTP request to a configurable endpoint.
  9. Name your Webhook Action
  10. Click “Create”
