To set up a webhook action that triggers any time a SMS message is sent, follow the step-by-step guide below:
- In Apptoto, navigate to Settings > Integrations.
- Click the “Webhooks” tab under “Advanced Integration Options” to expand.
- Click “+Add” to add a new trigger
- Under Trigger Type, select from one of the following three options
- Message Sent
- Message Received
- Message Failed
- Add a Name and Description for your trigger, and ensure it is enabled.
- Click Create.
- The Webhook Actions section will appear. Click “+Add” under Webhook Actions to create a new action.
- Select what action you’d like to occur after a message is sent, received, or fails. Options include:
- Send an email
- If you choose Email, fill in the additional form fields that appear and customize your email message content.
- Send Webhook notification
- If you choose Send Webhook Notification, enter the webhook URL where you want Apptoto to send an HTTP request to a configurable endpoint.
- Send an email
- Name your Webhook Action
- Click “Create”
